HubSpot's Pages is an All-in-One Tool for SEO Optimization
HubSpot’s new Page Performance tool recently launched and if you thought you knew all there was to know about your website…think again!
The page performance tool allows you to analyze every single page on your website and assess the SEO elements of each page. It crawls the pages of your website much like the search engines do. This way you are able to see which pages need improvement on their SEO, allowing you to work towards a completely optimized website.
Page performance is found under reports in the dashboard. Once in page performance you will see a list of every page on your website.

These can be sorted by “all pages”, “website page”, “HubSpot landing page”, and “HubSpot blog page”. My suggestion is to analyze one page at a time by clicking on the page of your choice.

I chose to analyze the page on my website that had the most views, which happened to be the home page. This immediately brings you to the On Page SEO, which analyzes the components of the page that the search engines are looking for. Search engines want to know what your page is about and the best way to tell them is by completing the Page Title, Meta Description, CTAs, H1 tags, and Images.

As you can see on the left side of the screen, there is a column with green check marks. This indicates that the section is completely optimized. A yellow alert icon indicates the section needs work and a red error icon indicates the section is missing an important SEO component. Luckily HubSpot has your back and explains any error that needs to be fixed and how to fix it! By clicking on a SEO component, such as Page Title and Meta Description, HubSpot provides you with a checklist on how to optimize the SEO component. By making sure that each of your SEO components have green check marks, you can rest assured that your website is optimized correctly for search engines.

Another extremely important part of SEO is keywords. We all have certain keywords that we want to rank for and now you can see which keywords are on each page of your website, how they rank, and what their monthly search volume is. Talk about all-in-one website optimization tool! By simply clicking on the Ranked Keywords tab, next to On Page SEO, you are given a list of the keywords on that page of your website. The keywords are organized in columns titled rank, monthly search volume, and difficulty.

Page performance allows you to analyze each keyword further by connecting the page performance tool to the Keywords tool. By clicking on a keyword, you are automatically brought to the Keywords tool allowing you to see a graph of your sites ranking for that specific keyword. From here you can follow tips provided by HubSpot to improve your ranking for this keyword by writing a blog post or creating a landing page.

The new HubSpot Page Performance tool provides endless opportunities for you to completely optimize your website's SEO. The tool shows areas on your website that need improvement and provides recommendations on how to optimize these areas. By taking advantage of this tool you will increase traffic from the search engines, which is ultimately every inbound marketers goal.
